With extensive training in robotic surgery, uro-oncology, and renal transplant, I am committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centric care. My expertise spans the surgical and non-surgical management of prostate, bladder, kidney, and other urological cancers, along with complex reconstructive procedures.
Often detected incidentally on imaging, but may present with blood in urine, flank pain, or a mass. Diagnosis involves ultrasound or CT scan, with biopsy in select cases. Early-stage kidney cancer is typically treated with surgery and has a good prognosis. Advanced tumours may require multiple treatment options.
Bladder cancer commonly presents with blood in urine and may require a combination of tests for diagnosis, including urine cytology, imaging, and cystoscopy. Treatment depends on the stage and may involve endoscopic surgery, intravesical therapy, or more extensive interventions such as radical cystectomy.
Prostate cancer often develops silently and may be detected through elevated PSA levels or abnormal digital rectal examination. Symptoms, when present, can include urinary hesitancy, weak stream, or bone pain in advanced cases. With appropriate treatment, the long term outcomes are excellent.
Penile cancer commonly presents as a growth, ulcer, or lesion on the glans or foreskin, sometimes associated with pain or discharge. Early-stage disease can be managed with organ-preserving techniques, while advanced cases may require partial or total penectomy and lymph node dissection.
Testicular cancer usually presents as a painless testicular lump, swelling, or a feeling of heaviness in the scrotum. When diagnosed early and treated appropriately, it has an excellent prognosis, with cure rates exceeding 95%, even in cases that require chemotherapy for metastatic disease.
Ureteral cancer, a rare malignancy of the upper urinary tract, often presents with blood in urine, flank pain, or urinary obstruction. With timely treatment—ranging from endoscopic resection in select cases to radical surgery in advanced disease—the prognosis can be favorable, especially for low-grade, localized tumors.
